Our MAHLE Service Solutions team has been working with the Italian diagnostics specialist BRAIN BEE for some time, and as of this year, the company is now part of the MAHLE brand family. We’re working together to expand development, production, and services in the area of workshop equipment in Europe. This means that in the future, we’ll be able to offer you an even broader range of equipment and services.

Smart bees and clever brains

BRAIN BEE was founded in 2001 in Parma, in northern Italy, and currently consists of 110 employees. The company specializes in the development and production of diagnostic equipment and software, A/C service units, and exhaust gas measuring equipment.

Especially in the field of diagnostics and air conditioning service, there are numerous parallels and synergies with MAHLE Service Solutions, the workshop equipment and services operating line of MAHLE Aftermarket.

The latest result of our cooperation so far has been the EmissionPRO® 180 exhaust gas measuring unit, which MAHLE and BRAIN BEE developed and produced together. You’ll find more info about this unit in the article “Exhaust gas measurements with EmissionPRO®.”

Customers worldwide will benefit from the additional European location in Parma/Italy, where cutting-edge workshop equipment is being developed and manufactured. With our global platform development, we’re improving the efficiency of manufacturing our equipment, which also benefits you.

Another advantage for our European customers: you now have access to an even denser sales and service network.

“What unites us with BRAIN BEE is our great passion for making workshop work easier,” says Olaf Henning, General Manager of MAHLE Aftermarket. His summary is positive: “We look forward to continuing our close collaboration with BRAIN BEE—together, we’ll develop innovative equipment for workshops all over the world. This means that in the future, we’ll be able to offer an even broader range of equipment and services for automotive workshops and manufacturers."
