After VW, Tesla has the most e-cars in Germany. For a long time, the diagnosis of Tesla models was considered complicated and reserved for proven experts. This is now a thing of the past: with the Tesla adapter cable kits, MAHLE is paving the way for the first and second generation of TechPRO® diagnostic units.
Coverage is already extensive at the start with the Tesla models 3, S, X and Y. Other models will follow. There are three adapter variants to choose from: The OBD adapter cable kit (consists of two adapters) for Tesla Model S and X. There is also the OBD adapter cable for Model 3 and Y. And if you want complete coverage, you can choose the OBD adapter cable kit (consists of three adapters) for Model S, X, 3 and Y.
Depending on the adapter cable, the range of functions includes reading and deleting faults, reading parameters and statuses as well as basic settings for many systems. In addition, vehicle workshops can access tutorials (videos and images) from the TechPRO® tool, which guide them step by step through the correct diagnostic process. By being included in the diagnostic database, workshops can also use the E-Health Charge solution to provide reliable information about the health and performance of the high-voltage battery in Tesla vehicles.
