Remove the silver skin from the ribs. You can use a little spoon for that.
Grate the ribs with the *rub and cook it in the smoker for 4 to 10 hours until the bones come out on the side of the ribs and the meat separates from the bone.
Glaze the ribs with BBQ sauce at the end. Glaze more often if necessary and repeat every 10 - 20 minutes.
Allow the sauce to warm slightly on the meat. Then it can be done.
As an alternative to the smoker, the ribs can also be prepared indirectly on the grill.
