Musically through the green hell

Four Motors enters virtual racing with MAHLE

Four Motors starts digitally

The real racing cars of the sustainable racing team still have to wait in the garage, but the team around Fanta4 frontman and team pilot Smudo won't let this stop them. At the beginning of May Four Motors, known for its innovative Bioconcept cars, celebrated its virtual racing premiere at the fourth round of the Digital Nürburgring Endurance Series powered by VCO.

At the next round, the MAHLE 3h race, Germany's first sustainable racing team will once again be on the virtual scoreboard. "Of course, our crew is also eager to put the pedal to the metal on the real Nürburgring, but until then, we are offering great virtual sport," says team boss Tom von Löwis. "As green pioneers on the race track, it's part of our DNA to break new ground and still be one step ahead!"

Speeddating with the drivers

The kick-off in Sim-Racing at the Eibach 3h-Race was followed last weekend by the online team presentation of the 2020 project with all drivers, partners and the real cars - contactless but interactive. Motorsport expert Tim Schrick, who has also competed for Four Motors in the past, moderated the live speed dating, the recording is available on YouTube.

Sim-Race talent Robert Heger starts for the first time with Four Motors

While Four Motors sent a pure real racer squad to the start of the last virtual race, the sustainable racing team will be supported by an aspiring Sim-Racer for the first time in tomorrow's race: In addition to the raging rapper Smudo, Robert Heger, son of the racing legend Altfrid Heger, is now also at the simulator wheel and celebrates his premiere as a member of the team. Automotive consultant Matthias Beckwermert will be the third in the group to pilot the virtual Porsche Cayman 718 GT4 through the digital green hell.
