From the racetrack to the streets with MAHLE

This weekend, Baku will host Formula 1 for only the second time. As partner of Scuderia Ferrari, MAHLE Motorsport will be on site once again to support its next step towards the Formula 1 title at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

The Ferrari drivers finished second and fourth last year, when the circuit in Baku made its debut on the Formula 1 calendar.

This year, the 6.003-kilometre circuit once again takes the partner team of MAHLE Motorsport through the heart of the historic old town in Baku, passing historic buildings and along the waterfront.

Going into the eighth round of the World Championship, Ferrari is currently second in the Constructors’ Championship with 214 points – just eight points off the lead. Sebastian Vettel occupies the top spot in the Drivers’ Championship. With 141 points to his name, he leads Lewis Hamilton by 12 points. Kimi Räikkonen is fourth with 73 points.

When the two Ferrari drivers race through the narrow streets of the Azerbaijani capital, they can rely on the power of the Ferrari SF70H and the support of MAHLE Motorsport. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix starts at 15:00 CET on Sunday.
