Cool solutions for thermal management in trucks

Keeping cool AND consuming less are fundamental to thermal management on the coolant side. This is already an important measure in passenger cars for reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. However, in the case of heavy-duty commercial vehicles, these systems have not been systematically implemented in series so far.

MAHLE also leads the way here. And, thanks to new developments, such as continuous control of the coolant mass flow with a controlled Visco® coolant pump or new possibilities with predictive controls, it is setting new standards for efficient, controlled thermal management in commercial vehicles. For the benefit of automotive progress—and our environment.
