Get off to a good start with proper training from MAHLE and Schaeffler
The world of vehicle workshops is constantly evolving. More and more new products and technologies are being put on the road. And the types of drive in these vehicles are changing. If you and your workshop want to remain state of the art, further training is essential. To support you, the two largest aftermarket experts, MAHLE and Schaeffler, have joined forces in order to share their combined knowledge in practical training sessions. Get in shape!
From professionals for professionals
The training cooperation was launched in 2018 with training courses on the topic of “Timing chain/valves/pistons—from error code to mechanics.” In 2019, the two aftermarket specialists are continuing this successful cooperation with additional training on “Double clutch systems/transmission flushing—maintenance & repair instead of replacement.”
Alternating between theory and practice, the focus here is on the replacement of double clutches, transmission filtration, vehicle diagnostics, and the flushing of direct-shift transmissions. MAHLE and Schaeffler’s fields of repair expertise complement each other perfectly: Schaeffler is a systems specialist for the drive repair of clutches, vibration dampers, and transmissions, while MAHLE is a filter specialist and systems supplier for workshop solutions.
Well-flushed transmissions live longer
Modern (direct) manual transmissions are highly complex systems that require regular maintenance. During the training, you replace the oil and filters yourself. Flushing the transmission can also significantly boost efficiency and service life. You and the other participants will also carry out this step independently. The old transmission oil is completely replaced, and all residues and contamination are fully removed from the transmission. After performing a transmission flush on a vehicle, you replace the double clutch and then adjust the control unit with the help of the MAHLE TechPRO®. The idea here is “learning by doing”!
