The Automotive Brand Contest is the only international design competition for automobile brands and has emerged as the important competition in the sector.
Among the participants are a large number of major automotive companies (B2B as well as B2C), such as Schaeffler, Continental or Mercedes-Benz and Audi.
Since the chief executive of the "German Design Council" is on the jury, the standard is very high.*

"With this competition, the German Design Council awards prizes for outstanding product and communication design and draws attention to the elementary importance of brand and brand design in the automotive industry. The focus is on the holistic and consistent staging of the brand across all media and products."
Brand added value through design
An interdisciplinary jury of six judged the entries according to the following criteria:
- Overall concept/brand fit - design quality in brand design
- Product aesthetics
- Degree of innovation in brand design
- Functionality and usability
In these criteria, the MPULSE Mobility Magazine has asserted against 57 applicants in the category ‘Corporate Publishing’.
